*Note , You won't have a problem with a Good adjustor. Please listen to
what they need first.Your claim will move much faster and You will do MUCH better if you don't annoy them. If they
are difficult or slow and won't call you back, you will have to go to their supervisor. Please don't "fib"
or exaggerate the facts.(document dates ,times and requests,(yours and theirs) or You'll
end up being ineffective, non productive and STRESSED OUT. Adjustors are doing as they are instructed (or allowed)
and want to Keep their jobs or get a raise the same as you and I. However....
When it comes to where to get your vehicle repaired Don't get
"Steered" Pushed or Intimidated into unnecessary debt by your
insurance company or the other parties insurance company. Don't make any decision or commitments.
Get their estimate or their "chosen" shops estimate and call us. Try to never go to their
in house "drive in" claims center. Those guys are way over scheduled and don't have the time to write a complete
estimate. Some company's write a cursory sheet and assume or hope you won't get the repairs if your car is driveable. If you
don't want repairs then go to their in house drive in. It will save you time and them money and that
is fair! Outside or field appraisers have a little more time and can schedule to see your
vehicle at home,work or the shop.You'll get a better estimate because quite frankly, supplements suck! It's a huge time
and money waster for EVERYONE involved!(except rental companies) If it's their chosen shop ,get at least 3 choices
around where you work or live. Again, don't make a commitment while there. Call us or fax the estimate. Did
you know some insurance companies have ownership in some shops? Makes you wonder who the "customer"
really is. Best Deal Auto Body does not participate in many of the repair networks because we give the concessions,
discounts and Savings in their contracts to You. We believe we have a responsibility to the vehicle owner and your
chosen partner of insurance carrier. The reason insurance
companies use these different word tracks is that the state does not allow insurance companies to direct or "Steer"
or Scare customers to a particular shop(or they are not supposed to), so they have come up with the following
word tracks to intimidate You into thinking you have to do what the insurance company says
or they will not pay the claim. Some companies also have bonus programs for employees that steer claims to their
choice, so if they "Push" they don't have Your best
interest in mind. It's ALWAYS about the money (they may be attempting to hit a bonus
quota) or a particular adjustor may be getting Kickbacks. It is ok for them to want to save money, Just
like all of us but....
These are often heard phrases from Insurance Companies when you want to bring
your vehicle to any shop that is not on their "List",
Don't be manipulated by the word tracks /Sales Tool. - "They are not one of our "
" shops and they are not on our list, we can't guarantee the repairs"
We
are not on everybody's list, that is because we made a choice. We identify the vehicle owner (you) as our primary customer,
you are the one who makes the choices,(including them) pays the bills and decides what & who is acceptable
to you. As for guaranteeing our work, we will match any of their chosen shops except for the "national warranty" It's
a poor substitute for real savings Right Now!. You will know if your car is repaired correctly, if not Instantly, certainly
within 30 days. With us, You've got as long as You own the vehicle. Truth is they will send you back to whomever
you selected off their list. Shops absolutely HATE re-doing
someone elses work! It's always a disaster! - "If you use them, we can't get an adjuster out for several days, if you take it to our network
shop we will have someone start on it right away".
This is just another ploy to steer you, Some insurance
companies tell their customers how busy they are and they can't get someone out for 7 or 8 days, Most staff appraisers
are required to appraise a vehicle within 72 hrs or they will assign an independent. (IA)
- "If you use that shop you will have to
pay for your rental out of pocket"
This is not true, We will help you! but ,some
insurance companies may try to force you into a rental reimbursement,(check your policy) which means they
will have you pay with a credit card and then reimburse you, or offer to send a check for x amount of rental days(which
claimants may refuse to do) . Most companies have direct bill agreements with rental companies, but they may not
always disclose that. Just ask!. Good adjustors get files closed and don't enjoy arguing or causing delays.
(Note) Rentals are a gift if you're the claimant. There are currently no laws requiring them to provide one. It's just good
claims management & file control. If you are the Insured,
we highly recommend you carry rental coverage that gets you in the kind of replacement vehicle you think you need in case
of a loss!. - It's Very Cheap!..
No rental is the NUMBER ONE cause of STRESS in repair situations!!! If you
need one call us. If we are the cause of the delay we will pay for your extended rental time.
- "They charge more than the prevailing rate
and you will have to pay the difference in repair cost "

There are very
few cases where we have charged a customer the difference between what the actual cost were and what the insurance company
was willing to pay. The laws states that the insurance company will pay the cost of repairs and case law has already
determined that labor rate differences of $2-$4 an hour is reasonable and competitive in any given market.

if you use them"
Well, we do look after everything
for you, including making rental car arrangements and dealing with the appraiser. The only thing that takes longer is they
are sometimes slow to respond and they do not pay us as quickly as they pay their preferred providers. We are determined and
commited to - complying with the same expectations and standards they
have for their chosen shops
These are just a few of the word(sales) tracks used to manipulate the customer
into using a specific repair facility. Be careful it's your vehicle, your investment, you have the right to make the choice
on who repairs your vehicle. We would be more than happy to assist you in the claims process. The truth is we work with about
every company out there, more importantly we do not lose sight of who the customer is. Have They?. We realize the investment
that you have in your vehicle, and we want to make sure the value of your investment is not diminished through poor quality
visible repairs. Bottom line is the Best insurance companies write great estimates with the intent of repairing your
car correctly. They have Great Appraisers that know how to get your car fixed right in almost any shop and Adjustors
that will never try to "STEER" or SCARE you!
It's ok if they "recommend" 3-5 shops in your zip code but, If you get the exception,
don't panic, hang up & call us so we can help. 60+ years of combined Expertise on both sides
