Q:What should I do first?
A:Call us and Reserve your discounts.
(We can only do this for 1-3 people per week!)
We will then guide you through the entire claims process.
You will have over 30 years of claims experience to guide you and make this inconvenience as
quick and painless as
possible.
Q: I am injured and need an auto accident attorney or phx auto injury attorney.
A: Call us. We know who the good local auto accident and injury attorneys
are.
Q: Do I need an appointment for an estimate?
A: Not unless you need to come by after
hours. Drop in anytime, Monday thru Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. or Call on Saturdays between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
If you cannot come by during business hours, give us a call and we will be happy to schedule an appointment.
Q: How long do estimates take?
(It's better if you get the Insurance company's
estimate first. They will write it at the prevailing rate without contract discounts.)
Do not tell them you will
be using Best Deal Auto Body. They will take your Discounts in advance. If you want us to write one, please
allow
approximately 15-20 minutes for the estimate to be written. If there is a substantial amount of damage, or you have an unusual
vehicle (such as a specialty sports car), it may take up to 30 minutes to inspect your vehicle and write the estimate.
Q: What if I already have an estimate?
A: Great! We work with all insurance companies.
Bring us the estimate and we will contact your insurance company if the estimate does not cover all the related damage.
We can also work with estimates from other body shops. Please feel free to bring them by!
Q:
Can I fax my insurance estimate to you? (please sign at the bottom)
A: Yes! We will order parts in advance of
your appointment directly from your insurance estimate.
After review, we could possibly have a few questions you can
easily answer over the phone.
Q: Can I just schedule an appointment and drop off my car,
and then have you write the estimate?
A: Yes you can, however, the repair process will go faster if we can get
or write the estimate in advance, pre-order your parts and have Insurance authorization in place. If you're sure you'd
like to enjoy the savings. Just let us know when to send a tow truck or come by work or home to pick it up!
Q: Is my estimate final and binding?
A:Maybe. An estimate is only an estimate. Without X-Ray
vision there is always the possibility of hidden damage. Once we disassemble the damaged area(s) we may uncover
additional damage in need of repair, or additional parts that need ordered. Your insurance company is very aware of this.
When they write an estimate they will advise you to take their estimate to a body shop and have the shop call them if additional
damage is found. The Better we restore Your Vehicle ,The more we apply to your deductible!
Q:
Who is responsible for the quality of repairs?
A: We are 100%, . You, the customer, are responsible
for the deductible as well as for the cost of the repair. Your insurance company is responsible for the balance or reimbursing
you for the cost of the repair. Obviously, choosing an insurance company and repair shop is very important and should be done
carefully.Your savings will NOT diminish the quality of the repair.
Q: Do I have
the right to choose my repair shop even if my insurance company is paying for the repair?
A: 100% Yes!!
You have the right to have your car repaired at any shop that You choose. A common misconception is that you
are required to get more than one estimate when seeking repair work. This is not the case -- no
law requires you to get more than one estimate. You are free to choose any reputable repair provider that
you wish. Your insurance company is required, by law, to pay the reasonable cost to restore your vehicle to pre-accident condition
according to the coverage you purchased. Your insurance policy will specify what coverage you have.
Q:
Can you save me (some or any of) my deductible?
A lot of people
wonder if I can save my deductible or how to .
A:Yes & No "Saving your deductible"
is actually incorrect. We actually "*save your money" by manipulating labor rates and controlling materials
or not charging you for procedures / "repairs" your insurance refuses to pay for. Charges
other shops "pass on" directly to you. Most repair shops will always
say "no." Here's why:... It's part of their profits! Your insurance policy is a contract between
you and your insurance carrier. It basically says that if you have a collision loss, you are responsible for the first portion
of repairs (your deductible) and the insurance company will pay the rest. If we do fewer repairs than agreed with the insurance
company, you are still responsible for the initial amount, the deductible. Any reduction should correctly go back to the insurance
company. This does not apply to sharing shop profits after repairs are correctly & satisfactorily finished or if
you're the *Claimant *(got hit -not at fault)
Q: Who do I pay my deductible to?
A: Best Deal Auto Body. We will apply all discounts and credit them directly to you after all legitimate repairs and
supplements are paid for. If there is a balance due(deductible). You will be responsible for that amount only but,
will receive the Guarantee or choice of other benefits. Savings are determined after correct & satisfactory repairs and
final supplements are paid.
Q: How long will it take to fix my vehicle?
A: We
will make every effort to ensure your damaged vehicle is repaired quickly, but how long it takes is determined by the amount
and severity of the damage. Best Deal Body Shop will make the repair as quickly as possible; however, we will not
sacrifice quality for the sake of time. Repair time also depends on the type of vehicle, the availability of parts and Insurance
company supplement response times. The more common the car, the more likely the parts will be available. Often
times after we disassemble the vehicle, hidden damage is found. If this is the case, a supplemental estimate must be written
and the additional repairs and parts needs approved by your insurance company. YOU AND THE INSURANCE COMPANY WILL BE
NOTIFIED IMMEDIATELY IF THIS IS THE CASE. You will have an option to use our rental benefit in lieu of
savings if the insurance company cuts off your rental.
Q: Are FREE towing services available?
A: Yes. We have towing services available 7 days a week. If you call after hours, the towing company will bill us.
Please feel free to call us for assistance.
Q: Who pays for the tow bill?
A:Best Deal Auto Body will pay for the tow bill when the vehicle is delivered to us, then we will bill your Insurance Company
as applicable. If an insurance company is not involved the tow bill will be Free
Q: The insurance company wants
to give me a check to repair my vehicle. Should I take it?
A: Yes. The insurance company is responsible for
restoring your vehicle to its pre-accident condition. If there is additional
damage, we will negotiate for additional compensation. You surrender none of your rights by accepting a preliminary
payment.
Q: What methods of payment are acceptable?
A: Insurance checks
made payable to and/or you. We will accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, Amex and personal checks up to $1000.00
or cash. We Guarantee you will receive savings. In some Insurance situations you may have to pay your
Deductible
and then receive an Instant Rebate.
